One of the key activities was the workshop on the National Skills Registration Program (NSRP), facilitated by Mr. Jodonelle Denver Theodore L. Manglicmot, PESO Staff. The session provided the Barangay PESO Coordinators with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of skills registration and strengthen their understanding of the importance of maintaining accurate and updated employment-related information. Through an organized registration process, the city can better identify the skills and qualifications available within communities and support more responsive employment facilitation.
The congress also included an open forum, where the participants were given the opportunity to raise questions, share their concerns and experiences, and discuss matters related to the implementation of PESO programs and the delivery of employment services in their respective barangays. The exchange encouraged open communication among the coordinators, the city PESO, and the representatives from DOLE, providing a venue to clarify concerns, share insights, and identify possible ways to improve coordination and service delivery.
The successful conduct of the 3rd Barangay PESO Congress Cum Awarding Ceremony reflects the continued commitment of PESO Tacurong City, the City Government of Tacurong headed by City Mayor Lina O. Montilla, PhD, and DOLE to strengthening grassroots employment services, promoting accessible employment opportunities, and building stronger partnerships with barangays
