The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) successfully concluded its 2nd Quarterly Meeting for Barangay PESO Coordinators today, September 2, 2026, at the Mayor’s Conference Room, focusing on innovative system updates and preparations for upcoming program evaluations. PESO Staff member Ms. Myla Pagmanua led the discussion on the latest Department of Labor and Employment Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) Monitoring Form.

She guided the 20 barangay coordinators on assisting applicants with the document and broke down the criteria for the Search for the Best Barangay PESO Coordinator 2026 ahead of the evaluation week for the Barangay PESO Congress 2026.

Highlighting technological innovation, PESO Staff member Mr. Jodonelle Manglicmot presented the web-based Skills Registry System (SRS) developed by PESO Tacurong. The system decentralizes registration to the barangay level, enabling coordinators to easily record and access data on skilled individuals in their respective communities using their own computers.

This initiative aims to streamline local skills tracking and facilitate immediate job referrals whenever vacancies arise. Closing the session, PESO Manager Mr. Allan Freno outlined the finalized details for the upcoming Barangay PESO Congress. He also expressed his deep gratitude to the barangay coordinators for their continued dedication and service to the community.
